Hello friends :o)
Just got back from a family vacation in Wisconsin - Stayed in a cabin in the woods. Spent lots of time walking my mom's new dog and sitting by the riverbank. Vacations are very addictive..will have a hard time going to work tomorrow...
My husband & I took this week off of work so we could finish remodeling the outside of our home. So instead of relaxing somewhere on a beach, sipping a tropical drink...we are slogging around the house covered in dust, brick pieces, paint..all kinds of wonderful stuff. As I type, my husband is dismantling the old brick siding by our front door with a jackhammer...ah love!
What is it about home improvement that keeps us coming back for more?
I think it is the idea that our dwelling will look 100% better once we remove the old and give the home much needed TLC. I will spare you the details of our days, but know that this vacation will be the greatest physical workout we have ever undertaken (forget Club Med!)
I better go before I get to comfortable...back to work!!
I am back from vacation in the Bahama's! We spent 7 days on the island, had beautiful weather, enjoyed good food/drinks, good company. And the Bahamanian people were friendly & good storytellers.

I'm taking off for a much deserved vacation...somewhere tropical where there are no laptops or conference calls.
