If you could choose one ability, what would it be out of the options here?
* Combust or explode things with your own will.
* Command the wind.
* Move the earth beneath your feet.
* Phase through Walls.
* Flashstep or some would call it shadow step.
* Use forces of telekinesis.
* Manipulate water and ice.
* Shoot Lightning at your fingertips.
* Create and control fire.
* Engage in telepathy.
And there is a kick to this: You have to type out one short scenario of how you used it. It can be a short paragraph of a story, or a full story, whichever (of course you are the character in it) or a day to day thing with you having this special ability.
And if you wish, find one picture, any picture (doesn't have to be you) of how you might be using this chosen power of yours. You don't have to find it if you don't wish to :) This part is optional.

Wow..this is a tough choice because my selection would be impacted by the following conditions:
- Scenario 1: Is there a group of ravenous zombies rampaging the earth?
- Scenario 2: Are there other super-power friends that I can hang with?
- Scenario 3: Would I have to keep my power under wraps, my true identity kept secret?
(note: the first 2 are fantasy scenarios, just for fun)
For Scenario 1: Combust or explode things with your own will.
Have to go with with something very powerful to kill off the zombies, and I would imagine that I would travel as a solo mercenary, zombie killer for hire. The world would probably end up looking similar to Mad Max, with lots of leather-clad warriors driving supped-up all terrain vehicles. A small band of followers would tag-along with me, but would probably get picked off by serious zombie attacks. My attacks would start in my mind, similar to Scanners, and I would shoot fireball out of my arms. I also would have the ability to control the molecular make-up of organic items and initiate instant combustion with my thoughts. Due to the intensity of these powers, I would need time to recharge "the juice" probably someplace vacant, monastery-like in the mountains.
What would I look like: Tough she-warrior, with a serious job to do
For Scenario 2: Manipulate water and ice
I am one member of a super-powers group, that resides in the Himalayas, away from prying eyes. We have complementary powers connected to controlling the earth surfaces & weather conditions. Our focus is managing the effects of global warming, and keeping the Earth's temperature levels in check. Jealous government heads/agencies are trying to gain control over our group, anticipating our powers could be utilized for more nefarious actions. While we have amazing powers, we do not enjoy fighting with others and seek solitude in our mountain compound. My powers are channeled from my altered frontal lobe, and I can summon water/ice upon request.
What would I look like:

For Scenario 3: Use forces of telekinesis
In real-time, I would use my power of telekinesis reluctantly at first, because it would take some time to adjust to my everyday life. After practicing floating dishes and making the bed without my hands, I would move onto more challenging things like moving my car to the store to save on gas (at nighttime to maintain privacy). Incorporating my powers into my current job would be difficult and too risky, so I may have to either look for different work that would offer more privacy (offer my services to the FBI perhaps).
